The Power of Body Gratitude: Changing Your Perspective, Changing Your Life

What are you grateful for about your body?

Girls we spend so much time criticising ourselves and it hasn’t worked, let’s try approving of ourselves and loving on ourselves and see what happens.

The brain is hardwired for negative and we have to make a conscious effort to put the good positive stuff in.

So right now I want you to ask yourself ‘What are 3 things I’m grateful for about my body?’

You body responds to the way you speak to it.

Constant criticism, hate, unkind words, judgement leads to you feeling heavier, unhappy, low self worth, low self esteem, a lower vibrational energetic state… how can you possibly attract into your life your desires or feel good about yourself?

Send it loving kind compassionate words over and over again and watch how it responds.

You can’t help but feel more:

  • Appreciation and love for your body
  • Proud of your beautiful body
  • An abundance of more energy
  • More confidence in your skin
  • Increased vibration/attraction to those around you
  • Happier within yourself
  • You want to nourish your body with clean foods, self care and exercise when you truly value your body.

It’s hard to instantly say ‘I love myself’, but instead you can start with gratitude or thinking about wha you like or don’t mind or appreciate about your body.

Thank your body for all that it does for you and the amazing life experiences it gives you!

Its a PRACTICE, not something you do once. Maybe you need to write a post it note as a reminder on your bathroom mirror and every morning start with gratitude for your beautiful body.

But it all starts in the here and now! Not when you’re thinner, not when you’re older, not when you’ve got a partner….but right now!
